Uninstalling skyrim then reinstalling do mods stay downloaded






















Reinstall the mod manually from the files you downloaded not the old ones Open the game and check if your edit has been removed. If you are using any sort of mod manager to install/uninstall your mods, it should be removing every file associated with the mod, but I don't know that I would trust that at this point. Delete.


Caliente says that these two mods can conflict and cause this problem, although I believe other mods that affect face texturing could be possible culprits as well. Solution: What ended up working for me was uninstalling (completely, not just deactivating) and then reinstalling Calientes mod AND THEN Better Females by Bella. Fully uninstall Skyrim by deleting the folder and the Skyrim Special edition folder inside /Documents/My Games/. Reinstall Skyrim into a location that is not Program files. Somewhere like C:\Games is a good location. Start the game once and let it do the graphics check. Do not worry about the settings as it will be replaced during installation.
